State Senator Donny Olson Unhurt in Controlled Emergency Landing

Dr. Donald Olson, Alaska State Senator from Nome, was the sole occupant of his Cessna 310, N87256, when he performed a controlled landing on the tundra north of Nome in bad weather on Wednesday, September 15. Senator Olson was not injured and has been medically cleared by a doctor. Senator Olson and his wife, Willow, along with their family are grateful for all who assisted in their time of need.

This will be their only public statement issued.
